Collaboration between museums spanned the Atlantic Ocean when the APG Museum sent digital versions of materials to a museum in Spain.
The Museu de la Ciència i la Tècnica de Catalunya (National Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia, Spain) is hosting an exhibition on computers. They were interested in high-resolution images of the ENIAC computer, and contacted the APG Museum. Museum specialist Ed Heasley was able to provide digital images. After this interaction, Heasley said he hoped this would be a “window into the future of APG.”
The exhibit will open for visitors at the end of this year, but in the meantime, they have an excellent website: http://www.mnactec.cat/. Click on the button in the top right corner to browse their site in your preferrred language.
