Ammunition Hall of Fame

The Joint Munitions Command at Rock Island Arsenal is going to have a hall of fame!

The Command Historian, Keri Pleasant, sent this message:

On behalf of BG Gustave Perna, Joint Munitions Command, Commanding General, I’m pleased to announce the newly established Ammunition Hall of Fame (not to be confused with the Ordnance Corps Hall of Fame).

The purpose of the program is to recognize contributions that have significantly impacted the ammunition mission.  The program will honor former Army civilians and military ammunition personnel who have provided superior leadership, service, dedication to duty and lasting contributions.

Nominations are due by 22 December 2011. The Selection Board will meet in January 2012 to select the individuals who will be inducted in an April 2012 ceremony held by HQs, Joint Munitions Command at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois.
